Program Changes: Due to the astronomical rise in COVID cases some of our programs will be postponed or changed to virtual. New Online Resource: LearningExpress Workforce Solutions contains hundreds of resources to help users achieve high school equivalency, explore jobs and careers, prepare for occupational certification exams, and develop the core knowledge and skills that are essential to workplace success. Includes Spanish-language resources. Try it out!
Book Discussion @ Grounded: Join us at Grounded (869 Main St) on Friday, January 21 at 5:00 pm for Cold Brew Convos, a new book discussion group for new adults. This month's book is Conversations with Friends by Sally Rooney. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book to read ahead of time!
Makerspace Now Open!: A Makerspace is a collaborative workspace for creating, learning, and exploring. We have jewelry making, sewing, coding robots, electronics, LEGO®, cardboard construction, and more! It's available to adults, teens, and children and free to use. Current hours are Mondays 12-6 (with a program for kids at 4), Tuesdays 12-5, Thursdays 2-8 (with a program for kids at 3:30), Fridays 11-5, and every other Saturday 10-2 (with a program for kids from 11-1). For more information please call or stop by the library.
Masks Required in Library: Per the Town of Windham, all patrons, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask while inside the library. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
